Recently, I had the pleasure meeting a wonderful couple Paul and Amanda who are expecting their first child. Thank you Paul and Amanda for allowing me to help you capture this very exciting time in your life. Amanda is due to have the baby with the month. I really loved the location for these pictures. They were taken at Paul’s mother Debra’s home. It was almost like have some built in outdoor sets for the shoots. Debra and Mike really know how to landscape a yard. There is nothing like blooming flowers to accent the blooming life that is about to meet his parents.
Besides capturing Amanda in all her wondrous glory, I really like the symbolism of this shot. If you look closely in the back ground, you will see a young boy playing catch with his father(out of frame) in the circle behind her. For me, this image has two levels of symbolism: one showing a baby on the way and another one which is a look into the future for Amanda and Paul.
This is one loving and happy couple. They have a great sense of humor too.
Debra was calling her son “Captain Morgan” during the shoot. So this one is for you Debra!!
